FROM THE LECTURE HALL TO THE SET – THE CREATIVE MV-MAKING JOURNEY OF VAN HIEN FILM & TELEVISION STUDENTS
More than just learning theory in the classroom, Film & Television students from the Faculty of Arts at Van Hien University are stepping directly into a professional music video (MV) production workflow to take part in the faculty-led competition, “Creative MV – Beat & Frame No.1.”
From a modern studio set to on-location scenes, and from lighting, cameras, dollies, and sliders to performance direction—every stage becomes hands-on practice that helps students:
Master professional filming equipment
Develop storytelling thinking through visuals and music
Strengthen teamwork and production coordination skills
Translate musical emotions into vivid cinematic language
Each MV is not simply a course assignment. It is a serious creative project where students are encouraged to test ideas, express their artistic identity, and build professional confidence—while still in school.
